NBA will be organizing the Jr. NBA WNBA Train the Trainers program at J J stadium in Chennai, , on Wednesday 23rd and Thursday 24th March from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
This program is for ALL coaches and physical education instructors who work with 10 – 12 year old kids.The program will culminate in a national competition for all kids participating. The winner of the competition will win an all expenses paid trip to the US to watch the NBA.
This program is being implemented by the NBA in partnership with BFI, HP and Spalding. Marty Conlin, former NBA player will be one of the guest clinicians for the “Train the Trainers” clinic. The objective of the clinic is to provide the coaches, access to world-class basketball training and materials in order to help the teams/players improve their basketball ability.
