The Milwaukee Bucks are 2-1 to begin the season and will likely win a lot more games going forward. Giannis Antetokounmpo dominated in the NBA's opening night win against the Brooklyn Nets, registering 32 points, 14 rebounds, seven assists, two blocks and a steal.

The reigning NBA MVP Nikola Jokic is ready to go back-to-back this season. He is averaging 29.5 points per game, which is the sixth-highest scoring average in the NBA. He is also averaging 14.5 rebounds per game, which ranks third in the NBA. Nikola Jokic's passing is what makes his game so special, but his assists numbers are down to begin the season. However, since he is known as the best passing big man in basketball, his dimes will certainly increase as the season progresses.

Nikola Jokic is also shooting at an absurd 66% shooting from the field, which not only ranks first in the NBA, but is leaps and bounds ahead of the second person on the list. He does so on more than 20 shot attempts per game which makes the efficiency more impressive. Jokic's Denver Nuggets are 2-0 to begin the season and the reigning MVP has shown that he can win games despite the absence of Jamal Murray.

Widely known as the greatest shooter in NBA history, Stephen Curry is out hunting for his third NBA MVP trophy. Across the first three games, his stats are high in almost every category. He is averaging 31 points per game on 43% shooting and he might go for his third scoring title as well. An amazing takeaway from his stat line is that the 6-foot-3 guard is averaging nine rebounds per game.

Curry is also averaging a much improved seven assists per game, higher than his career average. Moreover, he is averaging a career-high 2.3 steals per game and the last time he averaged over two steals a game in a season, he won the NBA MVP award in 2016. It is hard to make an argument against his NBA MVP case if he is repeatedly going out looking to stuff the stat sheet.

Along with Stephen Curry's personal stats, the Golden State Warriors are 3-0 to begin the season. They are unbeaten so far in the 2021-22 NBA campaign, including the preseason, and are one of just three teams in the NBA with a 3-0 record.

Curry dropped a 21-point triple-double on opening night with 10 rebounds and as many assists. He then dropped 45 points against the LA Clippers in his home-opener, including a 25-point perfect shooting (9-9) first quarter. In his third game, he dropped 27 points, 10 assists and seven rebounds. If Curry keeps putting on a show, he is going to be atop this NBA MVP power ranking for a while.
