While they rallied and took the contest deeper, they will be upset about not being able to pull off a win against one of the younger and faster teams in the conference.
Chances of LA' success comes down to how good LeBron James and Anthony Davis. Without their key pieces, the Mavericks will have a tough time containing Davis, and should he make his way to another DD2, the Lakers can look to shake off the loss against the Rockets and make the surge.

Dallas has the injury bug and will be playing the second night of a back-to-back after coming off a loss against the Memphis Grizzlies.
