The Los Angeles Lakers return to action tonight as the team travels to Oklahoma City to take on Russell Westbrook and the Thunder. It will be the second meeting of the season between the two teams, as the Thunder came away with a 107-100 victory when the teams met two weeks ago.

Heading into the game, the Thunder boast of one of the best home records in the NBA, as Billy Donovan's men have lost just six games at the Chesapeake Energy Arena this season. In comparison, the Lakers have struggled on the road and the team has managed to win just nine games without homecourt advantage.

Team News

The Lakers will once again be without superstar LeBron James, who is still out with the groin injury that has sidelined him since Christmas Day. Luke Walton's team has lost seven of their last 11 games without James and based on Rich Paul's (LeBron's agent) comments from yesterday, the 34-year-old's return date is still a mystery:

Now day to day doesn't mean tomorrow or the next day (he'll be back). Day to day means that after each day of his workload, we'll evaluate it, and when he feels his best he'll play. However long it takes, it'll take. We're not on nobody else's timeline.

In terms of Luke Walton's selection, the Lakers coach will have two major decisions to make. Tyson Chandler and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope both made rare starts in the team's recent win over the Bulls, as JaVale McGee and Josh Hart dropped to the bench. After an impressive performance, Caldwell-Pope is expected to retain his place ahead of the struggling Josh Hart, however, McGee is likely to return to the lineup in place of the ageing Chandler.

Predicted Los Angeles Lakers starting line-up: Brandon Ingram (F), Kyle Kuzma (F), JaVale McGee (C), Lonzo Ball (G), Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (G)
