Damian Lillard has averaged more than four three-pointers on more than two occasions in the NBA, doing so in the 2019-20 and 2020-21 seasons. Co-incidentally, these two campaigns have been the best two years of his career, where he elevated himself from an All-NBA player to an MVP candidate.

Lillard is now revered as one of the best point guards in the league, alongside the likes of the Brooklyn Nets' Kyrie Irving and the Golden State Warriors' Stephen Curry. It doesn't come as a surprise that Lillard has made this list. That's because he is arguably the best volume shooter in the league behind Curry.

Lillard is renowned for his attempts from way downtown. He was the league's leading scorer from 40 feet or beyond last season. However, his prowess has not been matched by his team, who have just one Western Conference Finals appearance to show for since Lillard's arrival.

Damian Lillard has not played in an NBA Finals game yet. Despite NBA trade rumors linking him with multiple teams this offseason, he might end up staying with the Portland Trail Blazers for the 2021-22 NBA season.

#1 Stephen Curry - 2015/16, 16/17, 17/18, 18/19, 20/21

Widely regarded as the greatest shooter of all time, Stephen Curry has averaged four or more three-pointers a staggering five times in his NBA career. That is three more than both James Harden and Damian Lillard. It's a testament to how good Curry has shot from the deep, blowing his competition away.

Curry has averaged more than five threes per game in three seasons, a feat no other player in history has achieved so far. He did so in 2015-16, 2018-19 and 2020-21 seasons.

The Golden State Warriors, will have massive expectations in the 2021-22 season after a busy summer and welcoming Klay Thompson to the mix. They missed out on the playoffs last season, but go into the new one as one of the contenders.
