Paul had three games with the Hornets in which he recorded 20 assists. The first time was against the LA Lakers in 2007, followed by the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2008 and the Milwaukee Bucks in 2009. The last time he achieved the feat was against the Houston Rockets in 2016. He played for the LA Clippers at the time.
CP3 led his team to a win on all four occasions. Paul is one of the best playmaking point guards the league has ever seen. Last season, he led the Phoenix Suns to their first playoff appearance in a decade and first Finals since 1993.

Russell Westbrook is among eight NBA players to record 20 or more assists in at least eight games. All these games have come between 2016 and 2021. That's when he also recorded his four triple-double seasons.
Westbrook achieved the feat five times with the OKC Thunder. The 2017 NBA MVP had three games last season where he recorded 20 or more assists while playing for the Washington Wizards.
Interestingly, there's only one game in which he has recorded exactly 20 assists. In the seven other instances, he tallied more than 20 assists. His career-best tally is 24 assists, which he has recorded twice. Westbrook has a 5-3 win/loss record in the games where he has had 20 or more assists.
The LA Lakers' latest recruit has produced unbelievable numbers throughout his career. Westbrook is the all-time leader in NBA history for triple-doubles. He eclipsed the legendary Oscar Robertson's record earlier this year. Westbrook now has 184 triple-doubles in his career.

Rajon Rondo is one of the most intelligent players in the NBA. The LA Lakers point guard can create scoring opportunities for teammates. He was a vital cog in the Boston Celtics and LA Lakers' championship-winning teams in 2008 and 2020, respectively.
Rondo recorded 20 assists or more in six games while playing for the Boston Celtics. He has achieved the feat twice while playing for the Sacramento Kings and once while representing the New Orleans Pelicans. He has a 6-3 record across nine games.
His career-best tally is 25 assists, which came in a game against the Brooklyn Nets in 2017. Rondo played for the Pelicans at the time. It remains his latest 20-assist game in the NBA.
