LeBron James and Dwyane Wade have always been very close friends. They formed a super-team of sorts when the former joined Wade at the Miami Heat. They went on to play in four consecutive NBA Finals series between 2011 and 2014, winning back-to-back titles in 2012 and 2013.

The two also played together for the Cleveland Cavaliers during the 2017-18 NBA season. Wade's stint with the franchise lasted 46 games before he went on to re-join the Miami Heat in the same season.

Dwyane Wade's teams were closest to having a superior record over LeBron James' among all of the latter's top teammates so far. James has had a 16-15 advantage over Wade's teams in the NBA. The two, surprisingly, have never met in the playoffs, despite James playing in the Eastern Conference for most of his NBA career.
