Can LeBron James' return to the court help fuel another big playoff run for the LA Lakers? That is the question on many NBA fans and analysts' minds as of late.

With James currently sidelined, the team has been left to fend for themselves in a stacked Western Conference.

With James' return on the horizon, he posted a cryptic message on his Instagram, which instantly sent NBA fans into a frenzy.

LeBron James’ injuries and the LA Lakers’ chances in the playoffs

From the sound of things, LeBron James could be looking to return sooner rather than later. If his latest post on Instagram is any sort of hint, the former MVP and the LA Lakers may be ready to take the league by storm.

As the season winds down, the LA Lakers have fought their way into Play-In contention while James has been sidelined. With a 7-3 record in their last ten games, the team will look to ride that momentum into a pivotal clash with the New Orleans Pelicans, who they are currently tied with.

After missing seven straight games, it will be interesting to see when James could potentially return to the lineup. According to head coach Darvin Ham, James is back with the team and everything is going according to plan in regards to his recovery.

Prior to the injury, James continued to put up impressive numbers, breaking Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s scoring record before the All-Star break. Unfortunately, for the four-time champion, an injury sustained against the Dallas Mavericks in late-February forced him to the sidelines.

With D’Angelo Russell recently returning to the lineup and putting up back-to-back games with 25+ points scored, the return of LeBron would put the Lakers in a great spot. Do you think they will end up making it into the playoffs? Drop your predictions in the comments section below!
