The Michigan Wolverines have gotten off to a shaky start during the 2022-23 NCAA season. One college analyst believes that the Wolverines have the tools to turn it around.

On paper, the Michigan Wolverines have been a disappointment during the 2022-23 season. The team currently finds itself at 10-7 for the year and has won three of their last seven games. However, the Wolverines have found themselves neck and neck with some of the most impressive teams in college basketball.

The Wolverines have had a number of difficult losses this season. They have lost to ranked teams such as Virginia, Kentucky, and North Carolina by less than five points. They also recently suffered an overtime loss to Iowa while at home. After an impressive win against Northwestern, there's still hope that the Wolverines could be a dangerous team as the year progresses.

That's what college basketball analyst Meghan McKeown believes. Appearing on "The Field of 68," McKeown said that she believes the Wolverines have it in them to turn it around. McKeown stressed that it's crucial for teams to peak right before the tournament, not early in the season.

"You never want to peak in December. You wanna peak in February...I think Michigan still has it in them to turn it around"

The Michigan Wolverines have a roster that could become dangerous come tournament time. After showing glimpses of their potential, the Wolverines will hope to start making some noise in conference play.

Although the Wolverines found themselves with seven losses for the season, things could have been much different if the ball had bounced their way. The Wolverines have a roster that features a plethora of dangerous weapons.

One of those players include junior big man Hunter Dickinson. The 7'1", 260 pound center is having another strong season for the Wolverines. Dickinson is currently averaging 17.8 points, 8.9 rebounds, and 1.7 blocks per game.

Another player who has started to make noise is freshman wing Jett Howard. The son of head coach Juwan Howard, Jett has shown the potential to be a lethal offensive wing. In his last four games, Jett has been averaging 18.5 points per game while shooting 50.0% from three-point range.
