The Miami Heat are coming off another disappointing season, and the franchise is set to undergo major changes this summer. Due to this, there is no shortage of Heat rumors making the rounds, and here is everything you need to know as Miami head towards a pivotal offseason.

#3 Mike Conley remains a prime target

Mike Conley has spent his entire career with the Memphis Grizzlies and he still has two years and $67 million remaining on his current deal. However, the Grizzlies have plans to draft Ja Morant next month, and Conley is likely to lose his place in the starting lineup.

The Heat have held a long-term interest in the 31-year-old, and Sean Deveney of Sporting News is reporting that the Heat would be interested in pursuing a trade this summer:

League sources told Sporting News this week that one team to watch in the Conley hunt is Miami, which is waiting on Goran Dragic's decision on his $19 million player option for next year. Heat president Pat Riley has long coveted Conley - Miami was interested in signing Conley before he re-signed with Memphis three years ago - and still wants to bring him to South Florida.
The Heat have the No. 13 pick in this year's draft, but with a hit-or-miss field of prospects beyond the first few picks, Miami is willing to move the pick to wring one more run out of its current roster. Memphis would have to be willing to take back some unwanted salary, but the Heat are likely the only team that would offer a lottery pick for Conley.

During the 18/19 season, Conley posted a career high in points (21.1), also averaging 6.4 assists and 3.4 rebounds per game.

#2 John Wall almost joined ahead of the trade deadline

John Wall has spent his entire career with the Washington Wizards, and his huge four-year, $170 million contract won't even kick into effect until next season.

Due to this, many believed that Wall would spend the remainder of his career in Washington, although during a recent appearance on 'The Sports Junkies', Brian Scalabrine claimed that the Heat almost completed a trade for Wall back in January:

The John Wall situation is a disaster in Washington. I had word that the Wizards had a deal to trade him to the Miami Heat at the deadline, but his Achilles popped a month before.

Wall is currently sidelined by a ruptured Achilles tendon which he suffered when he slipped and fell in his home. The injury meant that he played just 32 times this season, and most executives around the league believe that he will miss the entire 19/20 campaign.

#1 Malik Allen could join the Miami coaching staff

The Heat have been searching for a new assistant coach since Juwan Howard left to become head coach at the University of Michigan, and Marc Stein of the New York Times is reporting that Malik Allen could be the man to replace him:

Malik Allen -- lone survivor from Tom Thibodeau's coaching staff in Minnesota -- has emerged as a prime contender for the Miami bench as the Heat look to fill the void created by Juwan Howard's departure to Michigan, league sources say

During his playing career, Allen spent four years with the Heat. Playing as a power forward, Allen made more than 150 appearances in a Heat jersey, and he was part of the 03/04 Miami team that made it to the Eastern Conference semifinals.

The 40-year-old moved into coaching back in 2014, and he spent four seasons with the Detroit Pistons. He headed to the Minnesota Timberwolves last summer, where he has continued to impress in an assistant role.
