Michael Jordan celebrated his 60th birthday in a fantastic way. The six-time NBA champion and the greatest basketball player of all time donated $10 million to Make-A-Wish, which is the largest donation the foundation has ever received.

While Jordan is known for his competitiveness, he is also very generous. With a net worth of over $2 billion, Jordan has helped thousands of less fortunate people.

Fortunately, the basketball legend is not the only player who has donated big money for a good cause. This article will reveal five other players who've made large donations to different foundations.

These five NBA players made huge donations

1) LeBron James

LeBron has donated more than $100 million through his foundation. One of his biggest donations came in 2015 when he covered four-year scholarships for thousands of students.

From fighting hunger to fighting illiteracy, the Golden State Warriors guard has done a lot of community work. Curry is the highest-paid player in the 2022-23 NBA season and it's nice to see him spend all of his hard-earned work on those who are less fortunate.

4) John Wall

John Wall is no longer a superstar, but he is one of the biggest players the Washington Wizards have ever had. During his tenure at the nation's capital, the playmaker donated a lot of money to those who needed it, especially homeless people.
