The Milwaukee Bucks hope to win their third straight game in the Emirates NBA Cup on Tuesday when they face the Miami Heat. Giannis Antetokounmpo’s team could take a stranglehold on the East Group B with another victory. The Bucks take a step into the next round if they beat the Heat in the first meeting between the two teams this season.
Meanwhile, the Heat look to defend their home court as a few of their players have received the green light to play. Nikola Jovic and Haywood Highsmith have been ruled available, while Terry Rozier has been upgraded to probable. Miami could string together its first three-game winning run of the season if it can beat the Bucks.

Milwaukee Bucks vs Miami Heat Key Matchups
Bam Adebayo vs Giannis Antetokounmpo
The Adebayo-Antetokounmpo duel is usually the highlight every time the Heat and the Bucks meet. Antetokounmpo is probable, but he is expected to play. Milwaukee’s chance of going up 3-0 in the Emirates NBA Cup lies heavily on the power forward’s shoulders.
Antetokounmpo is playing better than his back-to-back seasons, so slowing him down will be Miami’s main priority. Adebayo gets the unenviable task of limiting The Greek Freak.
Damian Lillard vs. Terry Rozier or Tyler Herro
Terry Rozier will likely be under minute restriction after a stint on the injury list. It will probably be on Tyler Herro to contain Damian Lillard, who has been playing well for the Bucks.
Dame Time has been playing well this season, averaging 26.3 points per game on 43.9% shooting, including 35.0% from deep. He contributes 8.0 assists and 4.2 rebounds per contest. Stopping Lillard from exploding will improve Miami’s chances of winning the game.
Jimmy Butler vs Gary Trent Jr.
If Taurean Prince is cleared to play, he will likely start on Jimmy Butler. If Prince is out, that task will go to Gary Trent Jr.
Butler had his best game of the season on Sunday against the Dallas Mavericks. He ended the game with 33 points, making 11 of 17 shots. The versatile forward feasted on the free-throw line, hitting 11 of 16 attempts.
Trent has his work cut out trying to slow down the six-time All-Star.
