Minnesota Timberwolves vs Dallas Mavericks Game 3 Starting Lineups and Depth Charts

The Minnesota Timberwolves and the Dallas Mavericks square off in Sunday's Game 3 of the Western Conference finals. The Mavericks are in a commanding position after going up 2-0, snatching homecourt advantage away from the Timberwolves ahead of the next two games in Dallas.

Both were close contests, but the Mavericks held on behind clutch plays from superstar duo Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving. Doncic drilled the game-winner in Friday's Game 2 over four-time Defensive Player of the Year Rudy Gobert to give the Mavericks a 109-108 win with three seconds left.

Meanwhile, Irving dropped 13 of his 20 points in the fourth quarter after a quiet night, hitting four 3s on five attempts. The Mavs came back down from 18 points to win as Minnesota's struggled to find an answer for Dallas' backcourt.

Anthony Edwards and Karl-Anthony Towns' inefficient offensive outings didn't help Minnesota's case, either. Edwards scored 21 points shooting only 5-of-17, while Towns scored 15 on 4-of-16 shots. The two haven't been able to attack the Mavs' interior well because of the rim protection.
