#2 MVP performances

As great as LeBron is, some quarters have claimed that James should have won more MVPs than the ones he has in his trophy room. It may not be an immediate goal for the Lakers this year and the next, but just like in any other franchise he went to, it’s still the same championship or bust mentality for LeBron James. Having a timeline of four years to tie the Boston Celtics, or even get ahead of them, it will not be surprising if the Lakers with LeBron in tow will hang a championship banner up the Staples Center earlier than planned.
It would take a king-sized upset for a team to pull the rug from under the Warriors this season, but, if there’s one who could do the unthinkable, it’s the King himself.
