James Harden's show in the NBA continues and the defending MVP has picked up from where he left off and is posting huge numbers every night. Even though the Houston Rockets are in the bottom half of the table, Harden has been doing all he could to lead them to victory.

Harden has had two 50-point games in the season already and the Rockets are expected to make it to the playoffs even though the things are not looking good as of now. In the game against the Washington Wizards on the road, the 29-year-old had his best game of the season so far when he dropped 54 points.

This includes his explosive 21-points in the third quarter which helped the Rockets take a 98-94 lead at the end of three quarters. Harden only had 4 points in overtime, though, and the Wizards got the 130-125 win.

However, the 6-time consecutive All-Star was dominant for the most part of the game and went 17-for-32 from the field, including 7-for-15 from distance.
