#2. Disparity in the shooting percentages of the two teams
Tonight's game was a shooting clinic by the Boston Celtics. It looked like they would not miss a single shot, and win the game by a huge margin. They shot at a whopping 59% from the field and 40% from the 3-point line.
On the other hand the Minnesota Timberwolves shot 48% from the field and 30% from the 3-point line. Even though on any other night the Timberwolves may have won with those kinds of shooting averages, tonight was different.
The Celtics were on another level in this game. and it was impossible for the Timberwolves to match up to them. The Celtics had more firepower and more bench depth, which proved to be too much for the Timberwolves and they succumbed to a harrowing defeat.
The Celtics rank 14th in the entire league in shooting averages.
