Everything was going right for the Warriors. Their big 3 were scoring, their shots were going in, and they were dominating until the final quarter.

Their big 3 scored a combined total of 87 points. It is very rare for these 3 to score these many points and yet end up on the losing side.
Steph Curry scored the most points with 35 while Thompson and Durant each had 26 points. They shot the ball well, and made sure that they played the brand of basketball we all are accustomed to.
They dominated the entire match and it never looked like they would lose, until a barrage of 3s from the Houston Rockets and their 8-0 scoring run in the 3rd quarter cut the lead back under 10.
From that time onwards, the Rockets never really looked back in the game.
