Lou Williams passed Dell Curry for the highest scoring player coming off the bench in NBA history. Williams is having a terrific season, and is again one of the leading contenders for the sixth man of the year award.
Williams continued his scorching form by scoring 34 points in just 23 minutes of action in this match. He shot 14-20 from the floor and led the Clippers to an easy victory.
Williams is averaging a team-high 20.3 points per game for the season despite coming off the bench. He has also been a fabulous fourth quarter player, and has bailed his team out on a number of occasions with his clutch displays.
The Clippers next host the Portland Trail Blazers at the Staples Center.
