After missing a game win against Sacramento with a bruised thigh, Irving burst out for a game-high 30 points against the Lakers, going for an impressive 12-of-18 from the field and 5-of-8 from the three-point line. He also added 7 rebounds and 5 assists in 34 minutes of play.

He is now shooting 49.9 percent from the field and 42.2 percent from 3-point range this season. His previous career highs in those categories were 49.1 percent from the field and 41.5 percent from 3-point range.

Irving is hopeful that the Celtics make a deep playoff run and is working on finding chemistry with the team. He has been vocal about getting the team on the same page after recent struggles in finishing games and making plays.

Kyrie said- "We’ve dealt with the expectations, we’ve dealt with the outside pressures influencing our locker room – there’s no more time for that. It’s about us and it’s about us competing and being well-organized every single time we’re out there. And like I said, it starts with me”

The Celtics surely have All-Star caliber on the deep and a deep bench. With 15 games left in the season and to make a successful playoff run, reach the NBA finals they’ll need to work on their consistency and connectivity on the court.
