#2 Durant and Thompson's efficient performances
Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson were on fire last night and combined for 55 points on very efficient 20-for-32 shooting to shoot down the Atlanta Hawks. Thompson was +24 in the game and Durant was a ridiculous +31 on the night.
Thompson, who had an off-night shooting against the Pistons, going for 1-for-5 from long range, was back to his original form and went 3-for-5 from beyond the arc. He had 27 points to go along with 8 rebounds and 2 assists.
Durant is having a great season and exploded for three straight 40+ point games in the absence of Stephen Curry. After tallying 28 points against the Pistons, the 2014 MVP scored 28 points and went 9-for-19. He was really efficient from the free-throw line and went a perfect 9-for-9. With Curry back in the starting lineup, Durant can go the bench without worrying about the Warriors' blowing the lead.
