#2 James Harden

Joining the league of elite shooters and taking over a game in his own way with the stepback three, we have James Harden. There has been a lot of debate on whether Harden has got what it takes to be a dominant player. And the answer is definitely YES.

When you look at Harden's performance through the ongoing 2018-19 season, you'll realize how vital he has been for the Houston Rockets with the franchise having to deal with Chris Paul's and Clint Capela's injuries.

Harden has single-handedly carried the Rockets on his shoulders and he did that in style. He scored 40 or more points for 5 consecutive games. He has also had two 60+ point games this season and is currently averaging 36.4 points (leading the NBA), 7.6 assists and 6.5 rebounds per game. He won the MVP in the 2017-18 season and looking from what he is doing right now, it's safe to say that he could sweep the award this year as well.

#1 Giannis Antetokounmpo

Well, Giannis Antetokounmpo has definitely surprised everyone with his production this year and with each passing year, he has upgraded and added different dimensions to his game. He's only 24 years of age and it's hard to find a player at his age with his level of Basketball IQ. Driving the lanes, rebounding the ball, making plays for his teammates and scoring effortlessly, all does not come easy for him at his size.

He's a 7 footer with the handles of a point guard and his stroke might lack from the three-point range but who needs that when he can dunk on a guy standing in front of himself. Making an impact on both sides of the floor every night he steps into the court, he has led the Bucks to the best record in the NBA so far. His dominance comes with the numbers for the critics. He is averaging 27.4 points (5th in the NBA), 12.5 rebounds (6th in the NBA), 5.9 assists per game this season.
