NBA 2018-19: Are Golden State Warriors getting back to their best?

It's been quite a story around the NBA surrounding the back to back champions Golden State Warriors who have started this season, not like they would have wanted. They have been almost next to unbeatable couple of times already this season but for most of the part, they have been struggling to win out the games as easily as they are used to or at least as they should be.

A lot of credit to their early season struggles goes to the verbal spat between their all-stars Kevin Durant and Draymond Green which by the way was at a time they were without their star Stephen Curry. The fight resulted in Draymond Green getting suspended by the Warriors and then getting injured that kept him out for quite some time. By the way, Steph Curry was out for too during that period due to injury.

But somehow Warriors have left that dark phase behind them as they look to catch hold of the league and if the recent results are anything to go through they might even be nearing to getting done on that goal. They comfortably sit on the 2nd seed in the Western Conference this season.

They are on a small two-game winning streak as they look to get ready to face LeBron James and the LA Lakers on Christmas Day in Oracle. They have already got their four all-stars healthy as they look to keep their winning streak increase as the New Year arrives.

They already have 2 all-stars playing at MVP level namely Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant and look to be winning their conference with their only real contenders looking like only the Denver Nuggets and OKC Thunder.

And as the NBA looks to be shaping themselves for the 4 All-Stars, they are about to get their 5th All-Star ready for action around New Year. DeMarcus Cousins, who will be returning soon is already working out with the G-league affiliates the Santa Cruz Warriors.

It looks like bad news for the other franchises as everyone is waiting to see how the 5 All-Stars starting five is about to look. But if they even play anywhere near their potential they could be winning the championship pretty easily this season.
