LeBron James is considered an all-around player. But he is so good that he is capable of leading the NBA in career points scored when he decides to hang up his boots.

James averages 27.2 points, 7.4 rebounds and 7.2 assists per game in his career. What defines his legacy is his longevity and his consistency. His 15th season in the NBA was probably his best offensive season.

He finished with averages of 27.5 points and 9.1 assists per game in the regular season and absolutely dominated the entire playoffs for another NBA finals berth with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Even this season he has continued his elite MVP caliber displays averaging 27.3 points per game till now.

James' first 50 point game came in 2005 against the Raptors when he went off for 56 points. His highest points in a game is the 61 point outing against the Charlotte Bobcats when James was playing for the Miami Heat. He shot an outrageous 22-33 from the field and 8-10 from the 3PT line. He was locked in for the game and the Heat had an easy 124-107 win over the Bobcats.

LeBron James still has a lot of mileage left on his body. It will be very interesting to see how his legendary career unfolds.
