For all the talk of Chris Paul and James Harden playing together, the one person who was low key having the season of his life last year, was Clint Capela. Without Capela playing so well, the Rockets would not have been able to have such a great season in the 2017-18 campaign.

Even though the Rockets have had a rocky start to their campaign, Capela has not looked back from last season. He has instead taken an even bigger leap and is covering up for the offensive load that has been dropped by Paul, having a career year.

Capela is having a career year

The 24-year-old from Switzerland has been averaging almost 18 points per game, with almost 12 rebounds per game as well. He is an elite rim protector and that has shown with Capela averaging almost 2 blocks per game too. He shoots very efficiently at a 66 percent and has probably now become the 2nd most important player to the Rockets, ahead of CP3.

In the last 3 games, he has averaged 23 points per game, along with almost 12 rebounds per game as well. He has blocked 2.6 shots per game, showing his rim protection skills. It will be an interesting game against the Jazz and their center, Rudy Gobert. Nonetheless, he should be in for an excellent night tomorrow.
