The Portland Trail Blazers will travel to Phoenix to take on the Suns for their final game of the three-match road trip.

This will be the first time that these two teams meet this season. The Blazers are coming off a nine-point loss against the Thunder in OKC and the Suns are on a five-game losing streak.

The Portland Trail Blazers' perspective

CJ McCollum

With a 29-20 win-loss record, the Portland Trail Blazers are currently at the fourth spot in the Western Conference Standings table. Just like you would expect, the main reason for this success is Damian Lillard who is having one of his greatest NBA seasons ever.

Supporting Lillard nicely is his backcourt mate, CJ McCollum who is also having a great season and is posting good numbers. With the kind of talent that this team has, the opposition teams definitely need to be wary of them.

While they are expected to make it to the post-season once again, it will be interesting to see how deep they can go this year. They can definitely shock some conference powerhouses and are an underrated team. While their three-game win streak ended with the loss against the Oklahoma City Thunder, this game will give them a chance to start one more streak.

The Phoenix Suns' perspective

Devin Booker

The Phoenix Suns' struggles continue in the NBA as they are currently at the bottom of the Western Conference Standings with a 11-38 win-loss record. Even though the Suns are struggling, Devin Booker has been stellar for the team and is playing the best basketball of his NBA career.

Along with Booker, players like T.J. Warren and Rookie Deandre Ayton have also been great and even though the team is not able to register wins, they are giving enough reasons for the Suns fans to be happy about looking at the future.

How the things might unfold

Playing against a talented team like Portland Trail Blazers, the Suns will have to fight hard to stand any chance. Also, the Suns will be very low on confidence as they are on a five-game losing streak and don't be surprised if the game ends in a blowout.
