Thomas Embiid, a colonel in the Cameroon military is visiting his son, Joel.

Talking of this particular double-digit rout of the Knicks, he dropped a game-high 26 points, pulled down 14 boards and dished out 7 dimes, finishing with his NBA-best 21st double-double.

While he was busy destroying the Knicks' defense in the post, he also managed to squeeze in a block and a steal, making the MVP candidate's father as proud as anyone else in the Wells Fargo Center.
