#1 Kyrie Irving
Kyrie Irving's display dominated the Christmas encounter between the Celtics and 76ers that Boston won in overtime. Irving was on fire and was the definition of clutch in this match.
Firstly, Irving hit a mid-range jumper over Jimmy Butler that tied the game and forced overtime. Then he hit two back to back threes and took over the match in overtime to come away with a 121-114 victory.
Irving scored 40 points in the match and grabbed 10 boards. He shot 17-33 from the field and 5-10 from the 3-point line. Irving has been very clutch for the Celtics this season despite them not performing as per expectations.
He has been averaging 23.3 points and 6.3 assists per game for the season and has bailed his team out with his clutch plays on various occasions. The Celtics will look up to Irving to take them deep in the East.
