Stat line: 33 points, 11 rebounds, 10 assists, 1 steal and 2 blocks on 41.7 % shooting

Kevin Durant was red-hot to start the season and in the absence of Stephen Curry who is out of action due to a left groin strain suffered against the Bucks, a lot of responsibility is on Durant's shoulders and for the Warriors to stand a chance against tougher opponents, they needed everything they could get out of Durant.

In the game against the Clippers, Durant had 33 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists but the Clippers went on to win the game in overtime, 121-116. With the Clippers jumping to an early 5-0 lead in the first quarter, Durant had a layup to get the things going.

He went 10-for-24 from the field, with a field-goal percentage of 41.7 but barring Klay Thompson, no one could get it going and the Warriors fell to the Clippers. This was Kevin Durant's first triple-double of the 2018-19 season.
