4. Chris Paul

We must give some love to Chris Paul here, he was vital in his team efforts to defeat the Philadelphia 76ers, last night. Oklahoma City Thunder managed to cause the upset at home, as they defeated Embiid&Co., and Paul played a very important role in that victory. He played the entire game in a very unselfish way and led his team in all the important moments of the game from the 4th quarter, as well as from over-time.

Chris Paul registered 27 points, and 8 rebounds, as well as 5 assists. The former Rockets player also went 10/10 from the free-throw line. After a quiet start this season, Paul seems to be getting into form with the Thunder, and Oklahoma can be a dangerous team in the West if he continues to play like this. We saw a very good version of Chris Paul in this match.

3. LeBron James

Golden State Warriors v Los Angeles Lakers
Golden State Warriors v Los Angeles Lakers

Lebron James was the reason the Los Angeles Lakers avoided the upset last night against the Sacramento Kings, as James was all over the court for his team, and was essential in all the key moments of the match. He finished the match with 29 points, 11 assists and 4 rebounds, as he made his presence known both on offense, as well as defense.

In a match in which Sacramento played better than expected, the Lakers needed James to step-up if they were to get the victory, and Lebron did just that. He was the main character of more than one highlight reel from this match, as he showed was clutch with his shots in the most important moments of the game. Lebron is motivated for the Lakers to do very well this season, and performances like this ones, are the reason why he is in the MVP discussion this season.
