The NBA All-Star Jerseys for 2019 leaked via a tweet and fans are not happy at all with what they've seen.

The All-Star weekend for the 2018-19 season is all ready to happen in Charlotte in almost exactly a months time, but the progress and the design of the leaked jerseys seem to be stating otherwise. There seems to be nothing original with the design and no ode to the host city whatsoever.

The picture was posted to Twitter through the handle @JosmanSuri and it seems as though Nike has put the jerseys out a little too early at one of their stores. The jerseys according to the leaked photo are black with a simple red white and blue trim. They have stars down either side and a black and white logo on the front. Further back on the same rack there seems to be a version of the same jersey in white.

It is understood why the logo has to be in black and white, to ensure team neutrality as there are so many teams coming together, but there are so many more formats they could have opted for. The same sentiment echoed online and many Twitter users even put up their own ideas online.

The current design seems to be drawing from some of the previous designs. The red white and blue trim seems to come from the 2015 All-Star Game and the black and white logos seem to come from the game last year.

The hope is that the league will branch out a little more in the coming years. Also, it seems pointless that no aspects of the beautiful city of Charlotte were taken into consideration as that could have added so much to the jersey. Hopefully, the NBA expands its horizons in terms of designs over the next few years.
