Utah Jazz seem to be making a move towards the playoff spots

Donovan Mitchell has been exceptional since his rookie season last year for the Utah Jazz. This year though, a loss of form and a few missed games with a niggling injury has dropped him and the Jazz down to the 12th spot in the Western Conference, but they finally seem to be getting it together.

The Jazz have a 14-15 record as of now, with a 6-4 run in the last 10 matches. In the last match against the Miami Heat, the Utah Jazz played really well, winning 111-84. Let us have a look at the player in the spotlight, Donovan Mitchell.

Mitchell doesn't seem to have made a leap this year compared to his rookie season last year. He is still averaging just above 20 points a game, with 3 assists and 3 rebounds to go with it.

He is still an elite, clutch scorer but he is not able to improve the other important aspects of his game to really become something more than just a scorer.

In the last game against Heat, he scored 21 points in just 26 minutes, grabbed 5 rebounds and also managed to make 3 assists. He is a great defender and also managed to get 2 steals. Look out for him to have another big game against the Orlando Magic tomorrow.
