SG 2 - Donovan Mitchell (Utah Jazz):
The Utah Jazz have had a bad start to their 2018-19 NBA season, stuck in the 11th spot, with a 16-18 record in 34 matches. They have had a topsy turvy past 10 games, winning 5 and losing 5 of them.
Their last game was a close loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder, 106-107. But one of the reasons they were still in the match was some great basketball by their star sophomore guard, Donovan Mitchell.

Mitchell has had a decent start to his season, averaging 20 points, with over 3 assists and 3 rebounds per game. Everyone expected Mitchell to take another step towards becoming a player like James Harden, a playmaking scorer. But he has not yet taken that leap, due to some nagging injury troubles in the start of the season and his poor shooting accuracy.
He is shooting just 36% in the month of December, something which is uncharacteristic, and he can break out of it at any point of time. In the loss against the Thunder, Mitchell had a great game, scoring 20 points, along with 9 rebounds, 6 assists and 1 steal. If the Jazz have any chance at winning their next game against the Portland Trail Blazers, they need Mitchell at his best.
Alternate pick: CJ McCollum (Portland Trail Blazers)
