SG: James Harden (Houston Rockets):

The Houston Rockets have enjoyed a superb run this past month or so and have shot up to third place in the Western Conference, after a horrible start to the season. They dealt with a bunch of injuries to star players but now having won nine successive games since their return, they have a 42-25 record.

A huge part of their success has been that of star James Harden, who is averaging 36.2 points per game, alongside 7.5 assists and 6.5 rebounds per game. Even if he scores zero every game for the rest of the regular season, he will average more than the next guy, which is a ridiculous statistic.

During their win over the Dallas Mavericks, Harden was kept quiet but still managed a double-double. He recorded 28 points, 10 assists, six rebounds and three steals. His four turnovers are somewhat compulsory with the amount of usage he has, but he has a chance to shine tomorrow night against the Golden State Warriors.
Alternate pick: Bradley Beal (Washington Wizards)
