#3 Danilo Gallinari

Danilo Gallinari had a resurgent year with the OKC Thunder last season while playing alongside Chris Paul. The young team not only secured the fifth seed in a stacked Western Conference but even gave the Houston Rockets a run for their money in the first round.

While Chris Paul stole the show, Gallinari deserves a massive chunk of the credit as well. The 32-year-old consistently hit the clutchest of shots to keep his team in the game while putting on some splendid effort at the defensive end of the floor.

While Gallinari isn't an immovable defender by any means, he would still add greatly to the defense of the Miami Heat if acquired by the franchise during the NBA Free Agency 2020.

#4 Serge Ibaka

Serge Ibaka is a very underrated player as the NBA champion is still not given the respect he deserves at times.

The 31-year-old can do just about everything. He can light it up from behind the arc and also get inside and dominate the paint.

He is someone who can protect the rim while also being an elite defender on the outside. However, Ibaka has been on a steady decline in the last year or so, something that is unlikely to get better with time.

Nevertheless, given the Miami Heat's weaknesses, Serge Ibaka would be a dream pickup for the franchise during this off-season.

#5 LaMarcus Aldridge

While the San Antonio Spurs have struggled to hit their glory days, LaMarcus Aldridge remains one of the better players in the NBA.

The 35-year-old had a decent campaign for the Spurs in 2019-20, but given his skill set, he could offer a lot more to a contending franchise such as the Miami Heat.

Aldridge is an amazing shooter from mid-range. While he doesn't show eye-popping shooting from behind the arc, he can space the floor to a certain extent. He is also an intelligent defender who is always in the right position to predict the moves of opponents who look to get the better of him.

Given his age, LaMarcus Aldridge probably doesn't have too many seasons left in the NBA. However, considering his attributes, the Miami Heat should consider taking a risk on him during the NBA Free Agency 2020.
