#2 Portland Trail Blazers
The Portland Trail Blazers boast one of the best backcourts in the NBA, although the team is entering the 19-20 season with virtually no cover for their starting duo of Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum. The Blazers were already short during their run to the 2019 Western Conference Finals, and the loss of Seth Curry has virtually depleted the team's reserve options.
The recently acquired Kent Bazemore may spend time at shooting guard, although a backup for Lillard is desperately needed. Before struggling with the Raptors, Lin averaged 10.7 points and 3.5 assists in just under 20 minutes per game with the Hawks, and there is no reason why he couldn't offer similar numbers in Portland.
Ultimately, the current Blazers roster is suspectable to an injury to either of its star guards, and the addition of Lin would also lighten the duos workload.
