#4 Cincinnati Royals - 81 games
The Cincinnati Royals now known as the Sacramento Kings had a terrible season and the only bright spot about the 1960-61 season was the debut of Oscar Robertson. The guard averaged a 30 point triple-double that year and was one of the best players in the league already. The franchise finished with a 33-46 record and failed to make the postseason that year.
The streak began against the St. Louis Hawks where they won the game in overtime with a scoreline of 129-128. The streak was active till the time they played the Syracuse Nationals during the next season. The Royals lost that game with a 99-117 scoreline and it ultimately ended their streak.
The season was, however, an improvement for the franchise. They finished with a 43-37 record and only lost in the semifinals of the Western Conference against the Detroit Pistons.
#3 Milwaukee Bucks - 83 games
The latest team on this list is the Milwaukee Bucks. Arguably the best team in the NBA, the Bucks are on top of the Eastern Conference with a 53-9 record and have already secured qualification for the postseason.
The streak started in February of 2019 against the Minnesota Timberwolves in a 140-128 win as Giannis Antetokounmpo had 27 points and 10 rebounds. They finished the season by losing to the Toronto Raptors in the Eastern Conference Finals despite leading 2-0. The streak followed into the next season and only came to an end against the Charlotte Hornets despite winning that fixture 93-85.
The Bucks are strong favorites to win the championship this season with the likes of the Greek Freak, Khris Middleton, etc.
