#2 San Antonio Spurs - 129 games

Featuring once again on this list is the San Antonio Spurs. But this time it is the team from 1978-1980 period. Led by coach Doug Moe, the Spurs had a very good season as they finished second in the Eastern Conference with a 48-34 record and only lost in the Conference finals to the Washington Bullets.

The streak began in a 103-107 loss to the Denver Nuggets in December 1978 on the road. 129 straight games where they would score over 100 points would go on until the next season where they played the Cleveland Cavaliers and fell to a 98-100 loss. The season ended for the Spurs with a first-round exit against the Houston Rockets after finishing fifth in the Eastern Conference.

#1 Denver Nuggets - 136 games

The Denver Nuggets of the early 80s had one of the best worst defenses in the league

Led by Donnie Walsh, the Denver Nuggets had a horrendous 1980-81 season. They finished eighth in the Western Conference with a 37-45 record and failed to qualify for the playoffs that term. The streak kicked off in a 116-125 loss against the San Diego Clippers.

The scoring run was kept alive till the day they played the Washington Bullets. The Nuggets lost to the Bullets 90-98 and also ended their streak of 136 games where they had managed to score over 100 points.

However, they did manage to have a great season though. The franchise finished with a 45-37 record and made it to the Western Conference Semifinals where they would eventually lose to the San Antonio Spurs in five games. They beat the Phoneix Suns in three games en route to that in the first round.
