Kyle Kuzma has to step-up again for the Lakers tonight

The Lakers will be up against the Golden State Warriors tonight at the Staples Center. With LeBron James and Rajon Rondo still not available, the young Lakers' squad is left with very few options.

Kyle Kuzma has put the court on fire in the last two games. He had back to back 32-point games and has been shooting well from the three-point range.

Kuzma scored 20 points in the first quarter against the Houston Rockets, which gave the Lakers an early lead. He has to fire tonight if the Lakers want to compete with this All-Star Warriors team.

Now let's talk about Brandon Ingram, who has been averaging around seven assists over his last three games. With Lonzo Ball ruled out due to his ankle injury in the last game, a lot will depend on Ingram to run the offence as he has been doing on a lot of occasions.

The bench has been very supportive for the Lakers. In the last game against Houston, three players- Lance Stephenson, Ivica Zubac and JaVale Mcgee, had points in double figures. Even Michael Beasley scored 8 points in his 9 minutes of play.

The Warriors team has become deadlier after the return of DeMarcus Cousins, who scored 14 points in his comeback game which included a monster dunk and a three-pointer. It will be challenging for the Lakers' squad to compete against this Warriors' squad tonight. The absence of James and Rondo further escalates the misery. The return date of these two is still yet unknown.
