DeMarcus Cousins attracting interest from seven teams
Heading into free agency, some doubted whether DeMarcus Cousins would have much of a market, although Marc J. Spears of The Undefeated is reporting that the 28-year-old is attracting interest from several teams:
•
Seven NBA teams have expressed interest of varying levels in Cousins, according to a source. The New York Knicks have serious interest in Cousins, a source said. The Los Angeles Clippers are also intrigued.
Cousins appeared 30 times for the Golden State Warriors this past season, averaging 16.3 points, 8.2 rebounds, and 3.6 assists. He also participated in the postseason for the first time in his career, and he was particularly impressive during Game 2 of the NBA Finals.
The All-Star made just $5.3m this past season, but after proving his fitness, Cousins will expect a much higher salary for the upcoming season.
