The Cleveland Cavaliers have agreed to a one-year contract with swingman Daniel Hamilton. According to sources, Hamilton, 24, will get an Exhibit 10 deal from the Cavs. He will compete with recent signees Sindarius Thornwell, Jarell Martin, Marques Bolden and J.P. Macura for one of the final roster spots.
Hamilton was selected with the 56th pick of the 2016 NBA draft, although the shooting guard has made just 25 appearances in the league. Nevertheless, Hamilton played 19 times for the Atlanta Hawks last season, averaging 3.0 points and 2.5 rebounds in 10.7 minutes per contest.
