Eric Gordon wants to win with the Rockets after signing new contract extension
Earlier this week, Eric Gordon penned a new four-year, $75.6 million contract extension with the Houston Rockets. The extension will see Gordon spend his remaining prime years with the franchise, and Gordon told Mark Berman of Fox 26 that he was happy to have finally signed a new long-term deal:
It's very special. It's definitely exciting. I'm all about team success & me being a big part of that. They know my work ethic. They know my kind of leadership & what I bring to the table.
The 30-year-old also revealed that he expects to compete for a championship on a Rockets team that recently signed Russell Westbrook.
During the 18-19 season, Gordon averaged 16.2 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game. However, his Rockets team were once again eliminated by the Golden State Warriors in the playoffs.
