Irving parted ways with longtime agent Jeff Wechsler on Wednesday, clearing the way for him to ultimately work with Jay-Z's Roc Nation prior to the start of NBA free agency on June 30, sources said.
Irving signed with Jeff Wechsler ahead of the 2011 NBA draft, and his longtime agent played a crucial role in securing Irving's trade to the Boston Celtics back in 2017. However, Roc Nation Sports will now be tasked with sorting Irving's future out this summer.
