Denver Nuggets are level again in the series
Denver Nuggets are level again in the series

The Denver Nuggets had an uphill task tonight against the San Antonio Spurs and were up to it, beating the solid home team 117-103 in a huge win for the Nuggets, which helped tie the series at 2-2 and now they travel to Denver for Game 5.

Nikola Jokic was easily the best player on the court, as he controlled almost every aspect of the Nuggets game on the offensive end of the floor. He had himself 29 points, 12 rebounds, 8 assists and not a single turnover.

He was able to lead the Nuggets from the front just as coach Malone wanted and hoped would happen. The Spurs did not have an answer to Jokic's game and crumpled in the 3rd quarter after starting off really well.

LaMarcus Aldridge was superb for the San Antonio Spurs, scoring 24 points and grabbing 9 rebounds in just 29 minutes. No other Spurs player managed to reach 20 points, with DeRozan coming close with 19 points.

Apart from Jokic, Jamal Murray banished his Game 3 demons as he bounced back with 24 points and 6 assists, just giving up 1 turnover. Torrey Craig started in place of Will Barton and did a great job, scoring an efficient 18 points and 8 rebounds.

The Nuggets now play the Spurs at home in Game 5 and with the series poised at 2-2, the Nuggets need to step up and take the game to show everyone that they are not just a regular season team.
