Despite the big game from Gobert, the Jazz needed a clutch three from rookie Donovan Mitchell to put away the game. The rookie finished the game with 26 points in 33 minutes.

Meanwhile, for the Lakers, their bench starred for them once again led by Kyle Kuzma and Alex Caruso, both having 18 points apiece. The purple and gold franchise play their final preseason game against city rivals the LA Clippers on October 13th.
