NBA Season 2010-11 Weekly notables: Week 4

- Indiana Pacers, one of the weaker teams, beat the Heat 93-77. Said LeBron, “We have to treat every team as all stars, as they will all be bringing their A game against us”.

- After back to back losses to the Thunder and Raptors, the Rajon Rondo less Celtics beat the Hawks 99-76.

- The Suns had a 42-21 lead in the 1^st quarter against the Clippers, before letting them in within 4 and closing them out.

- The Hornets were at the top of the league with a 10-1 start, before dropping to 12-5. Chris Paul, post injury, is playing like there was never any injury.

- Speaking of injuries, Blake Griffin, who had missed a season with a kneecap injury, started his rookie season with an ally-oop dunk. Later he had a 44 point 15 rebounds and 7 assists game vs the Knicks, becoming the second rookie to do so. Here are 4 of those points:

- Bumpgate is the new word, for the following incident: LeBron bumped his coach while walking to the bench in the match vs Mavs, furthering the speculation that Pat Riley is going to step in and oust Spoelstra as the coach of the Heat.

- Derrick Rose is playing like a MVP, averaging 26.6 ppg and 8.2 assists. Let’s see if he can keep it up.

- Lakers have lost 5 of their last 10 games, expect this to change soon.

- San Antonio Spurs are at the top of the league with a 15-2 record, so much for the talk of them being old. Richard Jefferson has come into his own in the Spurs offense, asserting himself well.
