The Golden State Warriors were off to a hot start and were dismantling the oppositions without any problem. They just beat the Houston Rockets and were up against the Sacramento Kings, two nights later.

Klay Thompson exploded for a then career-high 52 points and helped the Warriors beat Sacramento. He was red-hot from the 3-point line, just like you would expect and went scorching 11-15 from beyond the arc. He got to his first 50-point game in just 32 minutes of action and shot 16-25 from the field. Also, he set the NBA record for most points in a quarter with 37, after shooting 13-13 from the field and 9-9 from the three-point line.

For the Kings, DeMarcus Cousins had a big game and posted a double-double but the Warriors were way too much for the Kings and the Warriors won this one in a blowout, 126-101 and Thompson was ridiculous +38 on the night.
