Damian Lillard was drafted by the Portland Trail Blazers in the 2012 NBA draft with the 6th overall pick. Lillard and CJ McCollum are one of the best back courts in the league today and the Portland Trail Blazers are currently at the fifth place in the Western Conference Standings.

The 3-time All-Star is one of the most reliable scorers in the league and has carried the Trail Blazers to five straight playoffs appearances. Stat line: 50 points, 1 rebound, 6 assists and 3 steals on 61.5 % shooting

After defeating the Charlotte Hornets in a close game at home, the Portland Trail Blazers were on a second night of back-to-back games and were up against the Sacramento Kings on the road.

Damian Lillard exploded for 50 points in just 29 minutes of action. This was his first 50-point game of the season and he was flawless on the night. In the first quarter, with 8:15 remaining, he shot a deep three-pointer in the face of the defender to give the Blazers, a two-point lead.

Later in the first quarter, he came off a screen to hit yet another three to extend the Blazers' lead to four points. Lillard made a lot of tough contested shots and went 16-for-26 from the field, with a field-goal percentage of 61.5.

He was also efficient from the three-point line and went 8-for-13. Lillard was aggressive and drew a lot of fouls. He went perfect 10-for-10 from the free-throw line and torched the Sacramento Kings.

Stat line: 50 points, 3 rebounds and 5 assists on 57.1 % shooting

After getting blown out by the Boston Celtics on the road by as many as 23 points, the Blazers were in Toronto to take on the Raptors who were with a win-loss record of 40-19. Damian Lillard lit up the Air Canada Centre with 50 points but the Blazers could not get the win that night.

He was unstoppable and did everything he could to help the Blazers win. He used his vision and passing ability to perfection and dished out 5 dimes. Lillard went 16-for-28 from the field, with a field goal percentage of 57.1, including 6-for-13 from the three-point line.

For the Raptors, DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry combined for 66 points on 15-for-34 shooting and Lillard's efforts fell short.

Stat line: 51 points, 7 assists and 6 steals on 64.3 % shooting

The Trail Blazers went into the All-Star break with a huge win against the Houston Rockets. Lillard had a team-high 31 points in that game and once the All-Star break got over, he picked up where he left off and dropped 51 points against the Warriors who were 48-4 on the season.

The Blazers started the first quarter hot and with the clock winding down, Lillard made a tough step-back jumper to extend the Blazers' lead to 11 points. In the third quarter, with the Blazers up by as many as 11 points, he came off a Plumlee's screen and nailed a three-pointer for an and-1. He made the free-throw and extended the lead to 15 points.

Lillard finished the game with 51 points and also dished out 7 assists. He was very sharp on the defensive end and had 6 steals on the night. This was Lillard's first 50-point game in the NBA. The Blazers rolled past the Warriors, 137-105.

Two nights after defeating the Minnesota Timberwolves at home, the Portland Trail Blazers hosted the Utah Jazz for a game. The Trail Blazers were 39-40 and were at the eight spot fighting for a place in the NBA playoffs.

Damian Lillard started the proceedings knocking down a pull up jumper from the free-throw line and then backed it up with a tough jumper to extend the Blazers' lead to six points. With 7:40 remaining in the first quarter, he made a deep three-pointer to extend the Blazers' lead to nine points.

Lillard finished the night, shooting 18-for-34 from the field, with a field-goal percentage of 52.9, including red-hot 9-for-14 from downtown. Dame was unstoppable and went 14-for-16 from the free-throw line.

The 3-time All-Star finished with 59 points to go along with 6 rebounds and 5 assists and the Blazers won the game, 101-86.
