#3 San Antonio Spurs
Teaming up with friend and former teammate DeMar DeRozan could be on the cards for Kyle Lowry as an outside bet among NBA Trade Rumors. The Spurs have all of their draft picks to utilize in the trade market, as well as the likes of Patty Mills.
Lowry would fit in perfectly to coach Popovich's side who frustrate opponents and have pulled off some impressive victories already this season. San Antonio have caught many off guard as they continue to creep up the Western Conference rankings and currently have a 14-11 record. With the Raptors' preference being to send Lowry West, San Antonio could provide a great fit for a player who can provide a lot to the Spurs' offense.
#4 Dallas Mavericks
The Dallas Mavericks need help on both ends of the floor at the moment and Kyle Lowry could be the player to solve their early-season inconsistencies. Luka Doncic needs additional scoring on offense and the Mavs need a leader on defense, currently languising with the 4th worst defensive record in the league.
Moving to Dallas could bring the potential for a deep run in the playoffs, though Lowry would have to adapt to handling the ball less, otherwise he and Doncic would need to find middle ground. The deal makes a lot of sense for the Mavericks who are currently 13th in the West and have performed sporadically to start the season.
#5 LA Clippers
The LA Clippers provide one of the clearest paths to landing a deal for Kyle Lowry, though it's still unlikely, given what the franchise would have to give up. To make it work, the Clippers could offer Lou Williams, Patrick Beverley and Ivica Zubac. Most interestingly from this for the Raptors would be Zubac, who could fill the hole the franchise currently has at the center position.
Kyle Lowry is known to have a close relationship with LA Clippers coach Ty Lue and would be the more natural point guard the side has been looking for to challenge the Lakers in the West. As well as combining with title-winning teammate Kawhi Leonard, this could be a perfect match for the Clippers.
