The New York Knicks will make the fourth stop of a five-game road trip with a showdown against the Dallas Mavericks at American Airlines Center on Wednesday night. The Knicks enter the game with a 10-7 record, coming off their highest-scoring performance of the young season. New York, meanwhile, topped the Denver Nuggets 145-118, picking up the second win of their lengthy road trip.
On the other hand, the Mavericks will be without superstar point guard Luka Doncic, who has missed the last week of action with a wrist injury. Despite the loss of Doncic, Dallas is coming off a 129-119 victory over the Atlanta Hawks on Monday night, led by Kyrie Irving. Dallas enters Wednesday night with a respectable 10-8 record, winning five of their last six contests.
Wednesday's matchup should be a thriller between two title contenders looking to gain ground in the standings.
