Philadelphia Sixers sophomore Jared McCain has suffered another injury blow. The Sixers on Thursday announced that the former Duke star suffered a UCL tear in his right thumb during a workout on Thursday.

McCain will consult with specialist on the next step towards his recovery. This latest injury blow is coming amid his recovery from a meniscus injury in his left knee. He suffered that early in the 2024-25 season and was subsequently ruled out for the rest of the year.
